Your Upcoming Skills β What You Need to Know
Follow the steps below and you'll be certified before you know it.
Step 1 β Arrive for Skills Testing βΎ
- Please arrive at your reserved time
- Hours: MonβFri 6amβ6pm Β |Β SatβSun 8:30amβ3:15pm
- Enter the complex off S. Figueroa Street and take a parking ticket at the gate

π ΏοΈ Parking is FREE β but you must get your ticket validated before leaving. See Step 3 for details.

π Arriving after hours? Drive to the intercom, press A β press Call for the security guard. No answer? Call 424-482-0586
- Take the elevator to the 3rd floor β turn toward the double black doors labeled "DTLA Office Suites at The Park"
- Turn LEFT before those doors and head down the walkway β at the end on the right is a door with a keypad

πͺ Keypad code: 2479 β enter at the walkway door, then use 2479 again on the keypad above the door handle of Suite 310M (look for the SureFire CPR sticker on the glass)

Step 2 β Complete Your Skills βΎ
- Log in to the computer using the same credentials
- Start your skills session and follow the manikin's real-time prompts
- No instructor present β helpful videos are in the room (scan the QR code on the wall)
You will be tested on:
Step 3 β Get Your Certification Card βΎ
- Your card is available immediately after passing
- Email it directly from our computer
- Log out of your account before leaving
- Take a parking validation card from the office before you head out
- Bring it to the security guard at the 1st floor of the parking garage β they will validate your ticket so you can exit for free
A Few Things to Know Before You Go:
πͺ Don't stress if you don't pass the first time β most students need a few attempts. You can retry as many times as you need. Also, if you need a rest break, take it!
β οΈ CPR is physical. If you have wrist, arm, or shoulder discomfort, consider waiting until you feel your best. For those unable to physically pass, we offer a BLS Advisor certification card as an alternative.
