What is the AHA?

The American Heart Association sets the guidelines for CPR and emergency cardiac care in the U.S. Its certification cards are widely required in healthcare.

What is BLS?

Basic Life Support is the CPR course for healthcare. It covers adult, child and infant CPR, AED use, choking and team rescue. ACLS and PALS build on it for cardiac and pediatric emergencies.

What's different here?

Do my staff get the same AHA card?

Yes. This is the American Heart Association's new self-guided training technology. Staff get the same AHA provider eCard (BLS, ACLS or PALS) as a traditional class, emailed right after their skills check.

Is the online part included?

Yes. Each seat includes the online course and the in-person skills check. The online course is adaptive, so it takes 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on experience.

Where can my staff train?

At any SureFire Skills Lab. Most locations are open 24/7. Staff pick the location, date and time when they book with their code.

How will I know who's finished?

Give your team a date to finish by and ask them to send you their eCard. You can also request an update from us anytime on who's booked and who's certified.

What if someone doesn't pass the skills check?

They can retake it until they pass.

Who can use a seat?

Anyone on your team. You decide who gets each code, and any code that hasn't been used can go to someone else.

Can I buy more than one course?

Yes. Start with 6+ seats of any course, then add others from 1 seat, all in one checkout. Each course is priced by its own seat count, and add-ons under 6 seats get that course's 6–9 price.

What if someone needs to reschedule?

Every seat includes unlimited rescheduling, so staff can move their session if their schedule changes.

Can we pay by invoice?
